I purchased a badass Juki to assist me with all my quilting projects.
I made this for Anika P. Her dad sent me a video of her as she encountered this for the first time and it is truly one of the best things I’ve ever seen. This is the quilt I am most proud of so far. I made this for Maddy, and it took me many years to complete, mostly because I didn’t have a place where I could leave my work all spread out. There are patches in there from my mother’s shirt, and from Maddy’s pajamas — lots of memories in this piece.A green bedspread I made for myself. Nothing fancy in the sewing, but I love it.This was finally finished and gifted to Emma Obregon in the spring of 2025. She loves it 🙂

I’ve been making potholders. I like working small — it’s liberating. Coming soon: the Oven Mitt.
Patchwork and Prose: a bookclub wall hanging
Started in 2022, this is still a work in progress! It’s being quilted, but I’ve set it aside because of all the other things to do and make. When I finish, I’ll replace this photo.
Big Botany!
This emerged from a Maria Shell class called “Big Botany.” It’s in process. Putting the background in, connecting petals to the background, to each other, and to the flower center (the center in this photo is craft paper — it’s just holding the space) has me a little balled up inside. Nervous. Stay tuned. Anothger work in progress.
